Saturday was busy lahs..

Sorry, I really didn't have the time to blog at all!

Whole day working with The Boss!!!
Before he reach, there were a couple who stayed for around an hour? I really hope they'll be back. Then when he was in the shop with me, the shop was really quiet! :p Did some admin work, updated the stock list and ordered some stocks. When he left at around 5-6pm. 3 groups of people came one after another! Super busy until 8ish larhs... No OT pay. :(

After work, meet up with hubby and went home to put down my stuffs and change clothes to go PARTY! :p Photos coming up in the next post. :)

The Boss got one of the staffs to self resign last week.
Now, I'm working ALONE!

You see, I'm perfectly fine with working alone.
In fact, I think I work faster if I'm not disturbed.
But I cannot do 2 things at the same time.
Like I can't continue to check those invoices when a customer walks in. Right?
Haiz.. I really hope The Boss finds a good new staff soon!

Title: Eucerin Sebum Reducing Cleansing Gel

Rated: 2/5

Like: Does not "sting" or "overdry" skin.

Dislike: The smell and also no foam.

Main Review: Sample comes in a really tiny bottle. I've never used this brand cause it look so "cheem" and expensive :p I just tried it and I didn't like that it's not foamy. I like foams, they make me feel like my skin is "cleaned" but this gel doesn't foam up easily and it smells a bit like the feminine wash my doctor gave me! I don't really like the smell. Will use finish the sample and see if my skin does clear up. I'm not that positive about this product though..

Will I Buy It: No

Title: Eucerin SkinRegulting CremeGel

Rated: 3/5

Like: Doesn't feel too creamy or oily.

Dislike: Difficult to "spread" on skin and a bit sticky.

Main Review: Turn off by the smell of the cleansing gel, I'm glad this tiny 10ml tube of sample doesn't stink that much. :p I like the texture as it doesn't have this "creamy" "oily" feeling I get from lots of moisturiser. But it's a bit difficult to spread on my skin and it's a tiny bit sticky. Price wise, it's still affordable. I'll see if my skin does clears up by the end of the 10ml sample. Low chance, but if it does, I'll update my review. :)

Will I Buy It: Maybe

Title: Eucerin Hydro Balance Refreshing Hydrating Cream

Rated: 2/5

Like: Not too creamy and less sticky

Dislike: Weird feeling.

Main Review: Turn off by the smell of the cleansing gel, I'm glad this tiny 7ml tube of sample doesn't stink that much too! Hahas. It's not too "creamy" as compared to most moisturiser. It's less sticky as compared to the Skin Regulating Creame-Gel also from Eucerin. Price wise, it's about $10 more expensive than the above mentioned Creame-Gel under the same brand! I guess I'm still not very used to moisturisers. I feel like I've put a layer of something on my skin and it feels weird. :(

Will I Buy It: No

Title: Eucerin Hyaluron Filler Eye

Rated: 2/5
Like: Cute mini 3.5ml tube sample, SPF 10.

Dislike: Feels heavy?

Main Review: Maybe I'm not used to using eye cream, thus when I try this sample, I felt it's a bit weird and "heavy"? Think I had too high hopes of this product, even thought it'll have instant results. -.- I'm not very old but I do have many fine lines under my eyes, really hope this thing would work. Will update if it work by the time I finish my sample. :)

11 August 2007. -Meet the cast of 881 @ Tampines Mall

OMG! I didn't notice that I didn't blog about this event at all!
This post is like more than 1 year liao? -.-

There were simply too many photos for me to edit and I think I just totally forget about it. :p
oh. and I remember I couldn't upload the "live singing" video onto youtube or photobucket because the video file is too huge! (254MB). :P

I haven watch 12 lotus also! & Leap Years! and Home Song Stories! Aiya so many movies haven watch!!! :(

So the story goes.. 13 months ago, I met Sha Xiao Mei to go play at Downtown East but end up couldn't play cause it rained! Then we decide to go watch movie. I think it's Jay Chou's The Secret. We went to Tampines Mall to get tickets, there was some waiting time in between the time we bought the tickets and the showtime, so we decide to walk around a bit.

We chance upon the "Meet the Cast of 881!".
Saw the lead actor, Qi Yi Wu and grab him to take photo. :p

He's really friendly. :)

Maybe you can't see it, but I was like really shy and awkward lah.

See my hand there? I duno where to put so put so I hold my bag.. If it's hubby, I'll hug him loh. but it's stranger leh. I shy shy. Hubby that time still say we look like very close in the photo. -.-

Are Singapore guys becoming more inconsiderate or am I not "hot" enough?

Ranting post.

I was on a public transport the other day. On a bus to be more exact.
Notice that the front part of the bus seems to be a little packed, with limited space to stand, I choose to move to the back of the bus so that more people can get on the bus.



Now, I was quite happy and surprised when I reach the back.
Because there were 4 empty seats!
Since I was carrying a really heavy bag and a big plastic bag, a seat would be great.



I was facing the people beside the empty seats, before I could ask if they could move in or let me move in, they actually turned away to face the bloody window as if I'm transparent!

Not 1, not 2 but 4 grown up men refuse to move a tiny bit for a little girl like me.
And I'm not even asking them to give up their seats loh. Just shift their legs to let me move in also cannot mah?

Or am I really so ugly and fat that no one want to sit next to me? :(

*Someone says I should use camera phone to take photo of these guys and put it in this post to prove that I'm not lying. I told him "if I got 3 hands, maybe I would". -.-

Guys are like so insensitive lah. :(

Title: Vichy Normaderm Gentle Cleansing Gel
Rated: 2/5
Like: The smell and no "tight" feeling
Dislike: Don't have the "cleaned" feel. Main Review: The smell is surprisingly pretty good and it's really different from the normal cleaning foam I use. The texture is more like liquid gel then gel gel, if you get what I mean. After washing, skin does not feel tight but this Cleansing Gel is nothing much to rave about though. Cause it doesn't really give me the "cleaned" feel after using, maybe due to the fact that it's "gentle". Don't really feel much difference to my skin after using it. Personally agree with one of the previous reviewer, there's no "WOW" factor in this product.
Will I Buy It: No



Title: Vichy Normaderm Anti Imperfection Hydrating Care
Rated: 2/5
Like: No oily feel!
Dislike: The smell and face feels a bit uncomfortable?
Main Review: I'm so scared that it'll be the oily creamy kind! After applying, my skin felt like it has powder on it. I don't like the smell. It's like smell of flower stem in water? I don't know. Not sure why, I'm having this weird tingling feeling which I find uncomfortable and scared that I'll have a lot of breakouts the next day. If I have breakouts, I'll update this review. But in any case, if I wake up with beautiful skin, I'll make use of the $5 voucher! :)

Title: UV. Activ Daily Protective Anti Pigmentation Fluid SPF50+++
Rated: 3/5
Like: No breakout.
Dislike: Oily feel, and makes my face looks white? Main Review: It has this oily feel which I don't like. Not sure if I've put on too much, my face looks like there's this layer of white stuff on my face. -.- Used tissue paper to pat my face to get rid of that oily feeling and the "white layer". Didn't really help much so I wear my usual pressed powder on top of it. Oh, and I don't really like the smell very much. It's bearable though. :) Am surprised that there's no breakout.

Title: Encore All In One Contact Lens Solution Rated: 2/5 Like: Sample size good as travel pack. Dislike: Packaging design Main Review: I don't like the design on the box. Looks scary to me. :( The samples come in 5 small tubes and is handy for bringing with you when you're going for very short trips. Somehow feel that it does not clean my lens as well as my current solution. My eyes seems to feel dry rather quickly. :( I don't think I'll buy even if it's cheaper than my current one. Will I Buy It: No

Updating my resume.

I've informed The Boss.
I'm leaving The Company in about 12 weeks time!
Gave him 3 month's notice okay!!! hahas.

I was updating my resume this afternoon.
Didn't want to wait until the last minute when I desperately really need to update it because I know I'll leave out too much information.

My job as an Accounts cum Sales Assistant is to provide assistance to the Managing Partner aka The Boss. The Company is quite small, thus most of us have to handle quite a few duties. I'm really happy to say, I've learned a lot and gained a lot of experience working in this company. Although there are some friends who very often complain that I'm busy everyday. *cough*Lynn*cough*

Here are some of my duties..
Updating and maintaining Sales Order List x2.
Scheduling deliveries.
Basic Book-keeping, e.g. Issuing cheques, checking Invoices, recording relevant payments and receipts, filing of documents, etc. x2
HR related duties, e.g. Payroll, keeping record of Staff’s leaves, claims, etc. x2
Customer Service duties, e.g. attending to walk in customers, phone calls and emails.
Admin duties, e.g. Sorting and attending to incoming mails x4
Assist in selling of company's range of products. (No commission) x2
Maintaining the general appearance of showroom.

*Those with x2 means I'm doing that for both companies. Yes, The Boss has 2 companies!
*The one with x4 is because The Boss has 4 showrooms! I retrieve letters from the letter boxes of 2 showrooms and The Boss will bring letters/faxes from the other 2 showrooms.

So actually I should be called the Accounts cum Human Resource cum Customer Service cum Admin cum Sales Officer who also does scheduling of deliveries and upkeep showrooms! :p

No, I'm not complaining.
Yes, I'm such a "show-off". :p


Imagine this fake conversation:
Me: XXX(Company name), Good Afternoon
Caller X: Hi, I would like to speak to the Sales department.
Me: Yes, how can I help you?
Caller X: oh you sound really young, can I speak with your manager or someone else?
Me: My manager is not around, how can I help you?
Caller X: Can you put me to your Customer Service Department?
Me: Yes I'm the Customer Service Officer, can I help you?
Caller X: I need to speak with someone who does the deliveries, can you put me to someone in the department?
Me: Hi miss, I can assist you, just give me your order number or name.
*Problem solved*
Caller X: Could you put me to the Accounts Department or would you know how should I make the balance payment?
Me: You can pay by cheque, make it payable to XXX(company name) or come down to your showroom to make payment by credit card at least one day before delivery.
Caller X: You sound really young, can you put me to your HR department?
Me: I'm the only one in this office, maybe you would like to call my boss on his mobile.
Caller X: What? You are sh*tting me right? How could there be only one staff in the office?? Your boss is crazy!
Me: Yea, I think so too. :P

P.S: I'm not that good, without my senior guiding me whenever I have things I don't understand. I'll not be able to handle this kind of job one loh.
