Becareful of unclear photos on blogshops!!!

Recently I bought about 5-6 items from a certain seller, and I am very unhappy with the seller's service. So unhappy that I must rant out, if not I'll never be able to rest! :P If you're unwilling to read long ranting post just scroll down to the bottom to look at the photos.

From the start, I went through her blogshop and decide that I want to purchase about 6 items from her blogshop, and so I emailed her. It was on a Wednesday.

Hi, I'm interested in getting a few items from your blogshop, payment thru internet banking and collection by registered post, can you give some discount?

I thought it's a pretty good deal and paid on the same day (Wednesday).
She replied saying that my items would be sent out latest by Friday.

On Friday she emailed me:

Hi Christina,
I'm sorry to inform you that the pink striped top is not in sale condition anymore as I just discovered a huge ink blotch on it last night.
As such, I have provided you with a monetary refund (transaction ref XXXXXXXXXX) of $8 and a credit of $4 on your next purchase on top of a free gift.
I deeply apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Even though the item was supposed to be $16, I decide to be a nice buyer and decide to let her off. Until.. I received the items on Monday and I didn't like what I see. The conditions of the items do not match the ratings she wrote on her webpage, the free gift was some really cheapo item. plus the clothes are mostly far too big for me so I end up giving them to my maid. But before I gave them to my maid I wrote an email to feedback.

My feedback:

Hi IBW, I would like to know why was I refunded only $8 when the pink top is
$16? I'm not interested in the free gift and felt kinda "cheated" in
this situation. And I would also like to feedback on some of your
items.

The earrings which you stated it's BN are rusty/tarnished and I cannot
wear them anymore.
The skirt seems to be torn at the side, it looks very weird. I'm
not sure why the "torn" was not stated, but I thought 9.5/10 for a
skirt like that seems a little "off".

I must say if she wants to reply your mails, she'll reply really fast!

Hi Christina,
This is my reply to your email.
The earrings were bought from another seller and it was stated brand new by her. I did not even try the earrings on and so I didn't know that it has been tarnished in the interior. But before mailing out the item I did check that it was not rusty on the exterior. And the slit on the skirt is not a tear. It is meant to be part of the design.
It's a mistake on my part for only refunding you $8 as I thought the top is $12. I have refunded an additional $4. The excess $4 has been used to offset registered postage which cost about $5.

So moral of the story, please becareful of sellers who posts unclear photos on their blogshops!

It's not the money but the frustration of not getting the promised goods that makes me angry. I'm usually not a super fussy buyer as I know there are risks involved and also different people have different perception. For example something that might be conditioned as 8/10 by me could be 7/10 or 6/10 to person A, yet to person B it might be almost totally flawless at 9/10 or even 9.9/10.

Been really busy the past few days, will update when I'm a bit "free-er" cause there's lots more events to come...

Anyway I'm in quite bad mood ah.
Received some of my over the net purchases and a lot of them aren't in very good condition. Arggh.. I hate those dishonest sellers ah. Especially those tell you brand new de but actually used before de. Or those give their item an rating of 10/10 or 9/10 but actually maybe at most 4/10, 5/10 that kind ah. grrr... There's this one seller who pissed me off quite bad, I'm emailing her to complain about some of my unhappiness and giving her a chance to "redeem" herself, if she doesn't handle it carefully, I'm so going to rant out here together with photos and website address! I AM ANGRY. grrr..


Just last week, I finally got my skinnies, but I'm super unhappy!

First off, she increased the price suddenly, but I accepted it since it's still relatively cheaper than what's the outside shops are selling at.


Then the handler didn't update the status of the order on her blog for quite sometime, so I email her to check if I can get my stuffs. She ask me where do we meet up when I have already told her and paid together with my stuffs, for meeting up at the location. I decide to be nice and inform her it's at Harbour Front MRT, I even ask her to sms me so that we can arrange it earlier. But she didn't get back to me by email or sms.

I'm tired waiting for her reply, so I've decided to sms her instead. Then I check with her if we can meet up at 1pm on 18th since my class ends at 12 and it only takes about 30-45mins for me to reach our meeting place from school. She ask me to pay extra $3 for the meet up. Then when I told her I've already paid $2.50 when I first paid the full amount, she say she's playing game and will get back to me. Then she sms-ed me at around 4.38am in the morning saying we'll meet at 1pm the next day which I'm not sure she's talking about 18th or 19th.

I sms-ed her checking with her for confirmation but she didn't reply. After school, I called her a few times and she didn't pick up. When I reach our meeting venue she sms-ed me saying she got pms cramp lah, so cannot make it and I ask to meet another day. I decide that no point getting angry and told her we'll meet the next day at the same time, since my class starts at 2pm that day. She didn't reply my message.

At 2.29am, she smsed me asking me if I can meet her at 1.45pm instead.
I told her no, it have to be before 1.20pm cause I have lesson 2pm. She ask me if she can reach in time if she leave Sengkang at 1pm. Of cause the answer is no, so I replied I don't think so. She then replied saying that she's meeting someone at Sengkang at 1pm and if I can wait for her, (at this point I'm beginning to feel damn irritated, cause I don't understand which part of I can't she don't understand???) So I replied, Can't if not I'll be really late for class. Then she didn't reply until 2.41am, she say okay, den she'll meet me around 1.15pm there. I thought maybe she've managed to pushed the earlier meeting earlier or something..

I'm afraid I'll be late, cabbed down to meet her but when I smsed her at 1.10pm she says she's on her way, asked me where do we meet and said that she's not coming out of the station. I replied that I'll meet her near the control station's near the exit there then. I guess I was a tiny bit early, so I decide to go cheers to buy a bottle of drink.. I smsed her asking where is she and she didn't reply me. I finished the whole bottle and she's yet to be found. Just when I'm about to sms her she replied me at 1.22pm that she's at Little India. I'm very very pissed because we're supposed to be meeting at 1.15 and I've already told her that I can only wait till 1.20pm because I'll be late for lesson! I ask her what time will she reach, informing her in case she got no super Short Term Memory that I'm late for school already.. At 1.28pm I received her sms asking me what time is it. She tell me her time says its 13.15pm. She ask me if she clock is slower by a lot? She say sorry! and ask me to tell her asap if my jeans cannot fit cause most of her customer cannot fit. -.-
When I reply her to tell her that it's 1.29pm (MRT's time) and that I'm super late. She replied with omg, she left 2 stops and where's my class at.. blah blah blah. By this time I'm, very very very pissed. Cause to me it doesn't matter where I study what it matters is she is very late and have a very lame de excuse!

You know there are many sellers/handlers with those stupid rules like if you're late for meetup you have to pay a some of money? In her T&C there's this line that states that $3 will be charged if I'm late for 15mins and extra $1 will be charged for every 5mins. She's late for 20mins, does that means she owe me $4? I'm not interested in the $4 really. But because that she's late I have to run up to take a cab down in order not to be too late. Including the cab fee, the skinnies became super expensive to me. Then also if I'm 15mins late for class, my attendance will be marked as zero and I'll have less than 90% of attendance and I'll not be able to take exams which means I'm wasting $5.5K!!! She nearly make me lost 5.5k okay!!!

Now can you see why I'm so angry???
I'm angry because she gave me so much problems and also thinks I'm stupid.
Argh. whatever.

I like most of the photos.
Even though there's not a lot of fanciful designs, but I'm already very happy they willing to spend time with me leh... Especially poor Js, have to wait 2hrs for us. A girl must be very lucky to be JS's girlfriend.. He can wait 2 hrs for 2 girls who are not even his girlfriend loh! But of cause I don't mean everytime like that lah! Aiyo.. you know what I mean right??

Anyway I quite like the makeover done by the the lady there so I decide to buy the brushes and hope to recreate similar look one day... I bought 2 brushes and 1 eyebrow colour thingy there. Abit expensive even after the 20% discount though.. (DMG: $79.20)


All Makeup done by lady (I think she's call JASS) at the Make Up Store, except my short lashes, which has been curled and "mascara-ed" at home by me. :p
I asked for simple makeup and below is the result..

I'm crazy over boots lately and these 2 pairs cost about $25-$35 each pair. I saw a shop in Bugis selling the white one but didn't go check out their price. :p 1-2 years back when I was searching for boots in FEP, I think 1 pair of boots cost around $49.90-$99.90 like that. -.-''

Yes I know they look the same to you but actually they are a tiny bit different. The white one has this cushioning thingy on top and is a tiny tiny bit longer than the black one.. And the lace for the white one is a bit thicker also. :p

Got one colleague say I have pig totters. Whatever.
I never said I am pretty, slim and chio what, I only say I think I'm very cute! :p

My Sunday without Hubby... quite fun. :)

It's not the first time hubby has to spend weekends at work.
But it's the first time I actually went out on my off day without hubby dragging me up in the morning to go out! lols.

Since yesterday's blog entry, I read "Tuesday with Morrie" till 2+am in the morning.
I cried from the start until I put down the book loh! I'm crazy!!
Stop reading at page 65 cause hubby made me want to shop.
We were talking on the phone when he mention that I'm not supposed to shop so much anymore.. Which makes me think of shopping and hahas.. I just went online to look for and good deals loh.

Woke up quite early on Sunday consider that I slept quite late.
(So late that I don't remember what time I slept at, all I remember was I was really really tired then I got knocked out. :p)




I'm having a rather nasty week at work.
A little stressed up cause I feel a little suffocated.
Then I'm hit by the irritating bad skin days and fat days lah!
Decide to go "break-in" my new shoes.

Didn't really ran much loh.
Jogged a tiny bit and walked quite a fair bit and climb up the stairs, 15 stories loh!
Walked or climb or whatever, I make sure I kept moving for at least 30mins. Cause hubby say before, only 30mins and above then can burn fat de loh. hahas.
Now my legs and buttocks aching liao leh. :(


Went home, ate breakfast cum lunch and then went to shower loh..
Causes I preparing to go to CozyCot's Holy Grail Private Party!


I know I'm so crazy! To camwhore on bad skin days! Siao hor?
Then end up have to find ways to make my photo look "see-able". -.-

After camwhoring a little, took bus to my old workplace.
Yes, Cozycot is just one story below my ex-company. :p
The party didn't actually felt like a party. No food, no drinks one leh. (Actually there's coffee lah but I no drink coffee de neh..)

Felt like I was at some kinda market, there wasn't that many people and I felt weird walking around ALONE. bah. Even the cheapo in me doesn't think that the goodies bag is that fantastic loh. But I did purchase a couple of items there though..



Bought a "package" thingy to do my nails at Qian Zu Ge. Dmg: $28.00
Will make appointment to go down one day sia. Wanna go use my $30 voucher on their foot massage too! hahas. Go torture myself. :P



Also bought a blusher from ettusais. Dmg: $29.00
Don't have many blusher (only 1) so decide to buy one more loh.

Felt really bored and went off after I bought the blusher.. Went to shop in Bugis instead. Walked round and round and round, in Bugis while talking on the phone with various people.



Bought Eyelash curler ($4.85) from watsons cause the "new-old" one dieded. -.-
Got some facial cotton (with any purchase, $1.00) cause the other brand one which I'm currently using kinda sticks to my face? :(
And I've finally found the fake lashes I lost! Bought 2 box cause they were having this sale thingy. Cost like $11.00 for both! Sweets!


Met Lynn (Secondary school classmate) at Bugis and we walked all the way to Cityhall.
hahas. She's my walking kaki. :p Took bus home from there. Really tired sia. Whole day out and 90% of the time I'm kinda alone. -.-


Went home and divided the loots, I mean the goodies in the goodies bag.
Gave some to my mum, some to my brothers, some to my maid and these are what's left for me loh.

Maybe I expected too much.
Anyway it's FREE stuffs, I shouldn't grumble so much. hees.

3 weeks ago, hubby and I had an appointment at vivo to make us a pair of shoes each.
I received an email early last week that my shoes are here! :)

Info sent to Germany to do blueprint, made in HongKong and then sent to Singapore.
Went to collect it with hubby on Sunday. Hubby's quite upset cause he have yet to receive email to say his shoes are ready. :p
