3rd pack of Free Samples

Checked out on Tuesday afternoon, I got it on Wednesday!
It was on my bed when I reach home!!!

In case you missed the previous reviews:
1st Pack of Free Sample review here.
2nd Pack of Free Samples Review here.

Here's my 3rd pack of Free Samples!

This time I redeemed 4 items and 2 of the items are foundations! :)
If you want these free makeup samples too, quickly register here!

Title: Maybelline Angelfit Liquid Foundation in NUDE
Rated: 2/5
Like: Not sure yet.
Dislike: Not used to liquid foundation.
Main Review: The sample size is very very generous. I cleaned an old contact lens case to store the "leftovers". Not sure if it's the tone/shade is not suitable for me or I have lousy skills, I look like I've a layer of mask on my face. Will try it out with the leftovers tomorrow, before I go to work. Will update this review again, soon. Anyone knows what's the best way to use liquid foundation? I'm quite a mess.
Will I Buy It: Maybe

Title: Covermark Moisture Veil Foundation No.6
Rated: 4/5
Like: Pretty good coverage for a powder foundation.
Dislike: Expensive. :p
Main Review: Looks quite dark toned in the sample packaging, it's a bit lighter when it's on my skin. Coverage's not too bad but I think it'll work better if I put moisturiser or some pre-makeup thingy before I slap this on. And as mentioned by many reviewers before me, it doesn't appear to be too cakey on my skin and actually hides some of my flaws quite well. Sample is quite generous (to the point that it can be used many many times!) and a sponge is included. However, it'll be better if the sponge can fit in the sample pack. :p Price wise, it's a little steep but for something this good, I think it's quite worth it, if you're earning your own money or have spare cash to use. :)
Will I Buy It: Maybe
More info for this product here.

Title: Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea & Apple Flower Tea
Rated: 3/5
Like: Tie Guan Yin Oolong tea is not bad.
Dislike: Apple Flower Tea has little tiny ants?
Main Review: I thought the Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea is pretty good. Even when it's cold, it doesn't taste that bad. My Apple Flower Tea had really tiny ants like insect in it, so I didn't drink it. Overall, I might get the Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea if it's not too expensive. :)
Will I Buy It: Maybe

Title: L'Oreal Paris Exfotonic Daily Body Scrub
Rated: 3/5
Like: Gives smoother skin and better than using a loofa.
Dislike: Rough beads.
Main Review: I forgot it's for body and used a tiny bit on my face. One word. Ouch! When I use it on my body, the beads felt kinda rough. After I washed it away, my skin did feel smoother. Could just be me, I thought my skin seem to absorb my body gel a little quicker after using this body scrub. Even though the bead are kinda rough, I thought it's better as compared to using a loofa (body brush/cloth). And also, most of the time I'm very lazy to use my loofa, sometimes I get a new loofa and I only use it a couple of times and I leave it there to rot, the next time I feel like using it, I'll think it's a bit dirty.. My maid thinks I'm crazy cause I keep touching my skin (arms). :p
Will I Buy It: Maybe

2nd pack of Free Samples received!

Last week, I just blogged about this super cool website which gives out Free Samples.
After I reviewed my first pack free samples, I immediately redeemed another 3 free samples.

And I got them in 2-3 few days!

This time I got really useful samples. :p

Carefree Super Dry Pantyliners
Rated: 4/5
Like: Quite comfy
Dislike: No twin piece?
Main Review: I like this. It's quite comfy, sometimes I don't even remember I'm wearing it. Maybe I'm too pampered by the double piece (another brand). I like that it's like a mini pad, not too big that it sticks out and irritate my skin and also not too small that it doesn't provide coverage.
Will I Buy It: Maybe

Lioele Beyond solution BB cream
Rated: 2/5
Like: Quite easy to blend?
Dislike: Weird colour? Oily?
Main Review: This is my first BB Cream. Heard so much about the wonders of BB Cream, so wanted to try out.. Tried it yesterday. Quite oily and hard to wash it off my fingers. :( The colour is kinda weird too, like too dark or something.. The oily feeling and dark colour kind of puts me off. Scared to put on my skin. But I do find that it's quite easy to blend into my skin. Coverage wise, maybe I'm not so good with makeup yet, I don't seem to be able to cover much. hmm...
Will I Buy It: Maybe

Sensodyne PRONAMEL Toothpaste
Rated: 3/5
Like: Not too "spicy".
Dislike: A bit weird?
Main Review: It's different from the normal toothpaste that I've used. Most of them gives me the "spicy" feeling which I don't really like. Without the toothpaste "feeling", it tend to make me feel like I'm not cleaning my teeth enough. It's not too bad. I expect it to taste really yucky, so it's quite a surprise when I first used it and it's not yucky like I thought. :p
Will I Buy It: Maybe

I've just checked out another 4 free samples!
Can't wait to try them out. :)

COMPLETE® EASY RUB™ Multi Purpose Solution
Rated: 4/5
Like: Quite comfortable
Dislike: Rubbing my lens
Main Review: So far so good. I've tried a few contact lens solution and this one's not too bad. I don't really like rubbing my lens, cause I fear that they will tear or something.. and my lens stick to my hand/fingers making it hard to rub/clean. Using this solution, my eyes don't feel very very dry even though I'm in an air-conditioned room the whole day.
Will I Buy It: Yes

BIO ESSENCE Skin White Revitalizing Exfoliator w PP
Rated: 2/5
Like: Skin feels smooth after washing it off.
Dislike: Doesn't work for me.
Main Review: I don't like it. Maybe it's all the good reviews I read, thus giving me super high hopes. Or maybe my skin is really that troublesome. I'm not sure about dead skin, but my blackheads are still there, and it somehow seems like it's getting worse. I'm not sure why. Maybe I've lousy skills or I didn't rub it the right way or something. Not sure if it's due to this product, I've got a huge pimple the same day after I used it. It could be my skin. But to admit, when I wash it off, my skin did feel smooth for a while. Doesn't mind getting it for free, but wouldn't be buying it. :P
Will I Buy It: No

Summer's eve Feminine Wash
Rated: 4/5
Like: Smells not bad, fresh and makes me feel comfortable.
Dislike: It's new to me.
Main Review: All girls should know about feminine hygiene products! I regret not knowing about these products earlier. I used to think it's for sick people. I know.. I'm like really dumb lah and no one ever taught me about female hygiene stuffs. Anyway, I love the cleansing wipes! Makes me feel more comfortable thus, more confident! :)
Will I Buy It: Yes

Shopwiki.com

Shopwiki.com is like a directory for shopping.

When you search for stuffs on most shopping sites, you will only find stores that paid for "advertising" or "placement".

ShopWiki find every store on the Internet by crawling through, like Google, so users can find almost anything and everything for sale on the net. Being able to find more products also means you can find more good deals and save more. :)

I love their gift guides!
The one I adore most it's their Gift Guides for Any Occasion!

They even have guides for Apology Gifts!
These gift guides are pretty useful when I'm looking for presents for my mummy, daddy, hubby, brothers, sisters, friends, not-so-close friends and colleagues.

In their Birthday Gifts guide, there's a Guide to Birthday Flowers & Gemstones. To make a birthday gift more meaningful, you can get the recipient flowers for the month in which he or she was born.

This message is bought to you by the nice people at ShopWiki.com. :)

Zookoda (Free Application)

No, it's not a new movie.

So, What's Zookoda?
It's an Email Marketing Application designed just for bloggers!

Huh? What does an Email Market Application do?
This application would enable you to send a summary (kinda like newsletter) of your latest blog entries into your reader's email inbox. You can even choose to have it sent daily, weekly, monthly or even one-off (entering a specific date and time)!

How much does it cost?
It's Free! Yes, you've heard it right. It's Free!
An Email Marketing Application that's Free!

So what else can I do with this Zookoda?
Wow, where do I begin.. With Zookoda..
You can manage subscribers of your newsletter
"Value-add" your blog with "special" newsletter subscription forms
Design attention-grabbing yet professional newsletters to match your pretty blog designs
Get real-time (LIVE) reports on your email (newsletters) success and visitor habits!

Do I really need it?
No. I would be lying if I say it's a MUST for you to register and you will NEED it.
But I'm sure you'll want it after reading what I've got to say.

As a blogger, or maybe a content provider or writer, I think we all know that regular posts are one of the ways to attracting new readers and encouraging regular visitors to visit/return-visit our blogs/websites.

Here comes a problem.. Whenever we post new content/entry on our blog, there aren't many ways of informing visitors/readers that its time to revisit your blog! But Zookoda is here to help. They would be able to assist you in "promoting" your new blog posts to your readers, thus "reminding" them to visit your blog for new contents! :)

Of cause, we can also try to create a mailing list on our own. But most bloggers do have a life you know! Who would have so much time in hand, to accept, verify and manage email-ing list? Therefore, Zookoda can assist you to take care of all email subscriptions.

All you have to do is just create a mailing list within Zookoda, add a subscription form and you're almost done! Paste Zookoda's dynamic scripts (Javascript) into your blog template and viola, your subscription form will appear immediately on your blog! Cool eh?

I just come across this website, www.blowfishshoe.com/ and boy do they have pretty unique shoes!

Blowfish Shoes is the hottest trends! They're hot in Europe, Australia, and now, America too! Did you know that the designers for Blowfish Shoes are also designers of famous brand, Esprit?

Blowfish Women's Shoes looks really cool. They have really cute colourful boots, neat casual shoes and really cool sandals!

I'm not sure about you, but I find that the boots selling in most shops all looks the same. Either in black or brown. At blowfishshoe.com, they have the cutest, most colourful, bold and fun-loving looking boots ever!

It's a pity I don't find any Blowfish Men's Shoes on the website though. Maybe it's not up yet. But I'm pretty sure if there are Blowfish shoes for Men, it'll be ultra cool. :)

Should I set up blogs for my brothers?

My brothers will be getting their own Internet soon.
That's considered early to me because I didn't get my own Internet access until like Sec 4 or something.

So my brothers are currently eleven, twelve and thirteen.
I'm still wondering if I should allow and assist them in setting up their own blogs.
Are they ready to share their views with the world? Are they ready to meet nice people? Are they ready to meet really unkind people? Are they ready to make some spare cash? :p

Will they reveal too much about their life like I do and put their lives in danger?
Will they write the wrong stuffs and get into trouble with law?
Will they verbally abuse people on their blogs and get into trouble?
Will they get hurt by other people's comments?
Will they meet people who pretends to be nice and then hurt them badly after using them?

I'm excited.
and at the same time, really worried.

So the question..
Should I? Or shouldn't I?

Advertlets or Nuffnang...

Honestly I think some people are sick.
Some, side one of them and then pull the other down.
Some, try to pull both down.
Some, sit back do nothing and then earn lesser than other people, also complain.
Some, see people complain, cannot tahan, also want to complain.

When everyone's complaining..
uglyfatchick wants to hug Ming and Josh.

Wait, that makes me sound more sick than those some people.

I'm a tiny blogger. Probably has less than 30 readers nowadays. :(
But I love blogging! I love the attention. So the money from ads are really just "special treats".

This makes me feel that my blog is alive. (When no one leaves comments..)

I blog as and when I like, on any topic I want, no minimal number of words.. and I still get money coming in. Money coming in, no matter what's the amount is always better than nothing right?

Some people says the amount I get is so little, they think they can beg for more money on the street. -.- I beg to differ (pun. :P). Begging is very tiring one okay! and I think it's illegal in Singapore. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.)

They are "service providers", not only do I not have to pay for their service, I even get paid!
Uglyfatchick puts up both hands to support Advertlets and Nuffnang. ;)

This is NOT a sponsored post, but words from Chicky's heart.

mailboxixchange.com

Even though I use email more frequntly now, I still have to open my mailbox everyday to check for any mails. My mailbox looks like the flat I'm staying in. and I thought it looks really funny.

In other countries, their mailboxes look like this:

Photo taken from mailboxixchange.com.

I couldn't believe it when someone told me that there's even a website selling mailboxes!

hotelsdeutsche.com-Germany

Here are some info on Hotels in Vienna & Hotels in Berlin.

If those words on the websites appears a little different, please be assured there's nothing wrong with your computer. The 2 links provide above are mere translated versions.

So for English...Here are Hotels in Berlin & Hotels in Vienna . :)

Honestly, I don't travel much. But I love to compare places and hope that one day I'll be able to go further than just Sentosa.

I've heard about Berlin and their legendary Checkpoint Charlie border crossing also known as the "Haus am Checkpoint Charlie" Museum. It's an exhibition on the history of the Berlin Wall and the partition of the city. They even have original "historic" items used in underground, overground and even airborne attempts to flee East Germany.

And I've also heard that Austria has all the four seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter)! And each of them have their typical temperature and climatic characters! I want to experience other seasons! Singapore only has Summer. :(

It's so hard if I really had to choose between Berlin and Vienna.

Where would you rather take a trip down to?

Trip planner.

I'm terrible at planning. Things would always either end too early or too late.
Or everything just have to go wrong every time I plan.

If I could, I would rather leave the planning to other people. But I really don't trust other people when it comes to trip planning. Which is why I don't like tour groups and stuffs.

I like my trips to be free and easy, but hate it if it's too boring or purpose-less.
My heart wants to visit interesting places, but my mind just can't quit worrying.

Those great people at realtravel.com created a wonderful tool that can help me to plan. What's even greater it's that it's FREE! Free trip planner!!!

Now I can start planning for my perfect trip with their FREE Trip Planner and create a trip plan with personalized itineraries, maps and guides!

If you're like me, and need help with trip planning, you should give Trip Planner a try too. Anyway it's free, what's there to lose?

farreys.com (Lighting)

Do you know that home lighting is one of the most important thing in your house?

While you paint your walls and decorate with all your favourite furniture, according to the theme of your choice. Then suddenly you realise, that you've got really ugly looking lamps or the light fixtures you used to have doesn't suit your room at all.

You wouldn't want that now, do you?

Anyway, I came across this site call Farreys.com. In their online store, there are thousands of unique light fixtures for you to choose from! so hot right?

They have really lots of lighting manufacturers, thus they have the largest selection available online! You can choose to search for the lights by style or brand or use their search feature to "save time" and find the lights (of your dreams) for your office/restaurant/bedroom!

Do you know what I like?
I like their Chandeliers. Who says chandeliers must be super huge and heavy with "crystals"? They have really nice and neat chandeliers too! =)

Travel blog?

I've never really seen travel blogs.
Maybe they aren't really that popular with people from my age group. (I'm still young! alright!)

I've seen food blogs, which always makes me hungry and irritated.
I've also seen movie blogs, which is just like movie reviews that's on the net instead of on the newspaper.
I've seen many personal blogs that blogs about everything in their life, which sometimes includes traveling to other countries and stuffs. Are they counted as travel blogs too?

What's your view on travel blog?
To me, as long as it's blogged with real experience and not just some stories made about your "fairytale" dream getaway I think it's fine.

What about you? What do you think of travel blog?
Do you think some looks fake? Too hard for you to believe in? or looks just like an "walking" advertisement?

furniturefromhome.com (Bedroom furniture)

Bedroom furniture is really important to me.

Normal people spend at least 8 hours in their bedroom. Not all 8hours are spent on sleeping though. For me, I spend many hours, surfing the net, choosing what clothes to wear and of cause, having my beauty sleep! So a cozy and comfortable bedroom is a must for me!

It's not easy to get good kid bedroom furniture, so when I find a site that has many different types of bedroom furniture. I am really pleased.

I like child bedroom furniture and king beds most.

Their huge range of bedroom furniture gives me lots of ideas on how I could decorate my own kid's room. That's if I have them some day. I'll make sure they'll have a nice and cozy bedroom.

furniturefromhome.com (Dining Room)

Are you looking for Dining Furniture?
Have no idea on where to shop for Dining Room Furniture that suits your home?

Maybe you want something more, something smarter than those normal looking dining room furniture.. Maybe you need Formal Dining Room Furniture?

Or you dream of furnishing you dining room with counter height dining table?

I like the fact that they actually have many different designs for me to choose from, however I feel that the photos are kinda small, making it hard for me to choose properly.
