Clubbing = no life meh? and Where's my Nuffnang cheque?

A friend was like commenting that I've no life, cause I'm always clubbing clubbing clubbing.
If we weren't on msn but talking face to face, I would have shouted at him or something lah!

I club a lot meh?
Until now the number of times I've gone into a club can be counted using 1 hand lor.

First time's Kyla's Birthday Party at MOS in Dec'2006.
Second time's at dblO on 13May'2008 Jolyn asked me out.
Third time's dblO's Anniversary Party 2008 and I went because I had invites loh!
Forth and last's is the newurbanmale party at st james, also because I had free tixs loh!!!


I feel sad now lah.
Why everyone think I'm the clubbing sort of girl as if it's a really bad thing? :(


Anyway, I've busted my expense's budget and transport's budget again.
Just got my pay, but allocated a part of it on something I don't need. Let's just hope it's a good buy and if it's really really fun, I'll blog about it!. :)

I'm unhappy that my blog is not earning me money like before.
Ever since my PageRank dropped from THREE to ZERO, I've no appetite to blog!

No mood to blog, thus blog lesser.
Blog lesser thus less people read.
Less people read, thus less adverts.
Less adverts thus less earnings.

And without my PageRank 3, I've no Payperpost and Blogsvertise jobs too.
This is so bloody unfair lah! :(
I haven't been doing any ppp or blogsvertise jobs for many many many many months already loh. :(


I'm starting to feel the need to write something controversial and get myself many many blog viewers. Should I?

Advertlets or Nuffnang...

Honestly I think some people are sick.
Some, side one of them and then pull the other down.
Some, try to pull both down.
Some, sit back do nothing and then earn lesser than other people, also complain.
Some, see people complain, cannot tahan, also want to complain.

I'm a tiny blogger. Probably has less than 30 readers nowadays. :(
But I love blogging! I love the attention. So the money from ads are really just "special treats".


This makes me feel that my blog is alive. (When no one leaves comments..)





I blog as and when I like, on any topic I want, no minimal number of words.. and I still get money coming in. Money coming in, no matter what's the amount is always better than nothing right?


Some people says the amount I get is so little, they think they can beg for more money on the street. -.- I beg to differ (pun. :P). Begging is very tiring one okay! and I think it's illegal in Singapore. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.)


They are "service providers", not only do I not have to pay for their service, I even get paid!

HELP!!!

Secondlife...

I've heard so many people talking/blogging/playing secondlife. I'm really curious what's the whole deal about.

Then, I even heard that playing secondlife can give me real money!
So on Friday night, the money-faced, greedy me downloaded the game, and even created an account named Uglyfatchick Yoshikawa. (Such a cool name right?)

Yesterday was Saturday, so I thought I should take a break (after vacuuming my room and changing my bedsheets and pillow case).

I click on the game..
and you know what?

When I tried to play the game, my computer crashed 2 times! :(

First time it crashed, my computer restarted itself.
The second time, I restarted my computer and then deleted the game.

Guess I'm better off earning money thru Payperpost, Blogsvertise, Adbux & EmailCashPro.
(By the way, my advertlets account has RM$0.30! hahas.)

At least they won't crash my lousy computer. :(

No Internet connection how to blog?

I didn't had internet connection for > 24hrs and I felt like I'm going crazy!

Currently I'm using M1's dunno what plan.
It's under my boyboy's name. and I feel really bad. He arh.. own bills already so much liao, still want to pay my Internet bill.

He signed up for the 18months plan and this is free! =)

Anyway, I thought really hard and have decided to pay him using what I earn online.

PPP Direct

Part One of the Birdo Release.
A new version of PayPerPost.com is now available for me to explore. yeah!
Anyway, the biggest new feature in this Birdo release is PayPerPost Direct.

I know I wrote about it yesterday, but all I knew then was:
I set a minimum amount I want to be paid for Direct opportunities and put up the badge on my blog. So if anyone finds my blog and decides they would like me to write something for them, they can just click on the badge and make me an offer.


This morning, I woke up and thought, this couldn't be all free right? I mean I had better check if I'll be charged for each new entry I get or something. (just to be careful)

I went to read up more about PPP direct, and to my surprise, I think I've made a great choice to use PPP direct! :P

I got my "future advertisers" a rather good deal!
Most companies providing this kind of service would charge between 50-100% markup on post. Meaning, if you put up a minimum offer of $50, advertisers would have to pay $100 but you'll only get $50, the company takes the other $50 for doing almost nothing! The people at PayPerPost agrees that when an advertiser clicks on our badge on our blogs, I should get to keep majority of the money and not give it to someone else!

PPP Direct only charges a 10% service fee, and about 5% of that is for transaction fees for PayPal and credit card processing. Which means, when I put up a minimum offer of $5, My advertiser just have to pay $5.50! =) In PPP's words, the advertiser gets more bang for their buck and I make more money!


Is it safe? Most "kia su" (slang for scared to lose) people would ask.
It's gonna be messy if you try to do the same thing on your own. Imagine, you want to get paid before your write, but your advertiser wants you to write before you get the money. So how?
Payperpost provides security of an escrow-like service that will assure you get paid for your hard work and the advertiser gets his post.


Other than PPP direct, I find this other new feature very interesting!
Post Reservations!
I used to think that once I click on "Take opportunity", they will hold the opportunity for a period of time while I type out my post. But after spending 2-3hours making my post, when I try to post my post, they tell me that all slots on the opportunity had been filled! Heart pain lah. :(
That will not happen now... They've increased the reservation time to 6 hours!
Means, I can take my time to blog once I click on "take Opportunity" and not be afraid that I wouldn't get paid for all the time and effort I put into typing my blog post. Yippee! =)

my internet connection / computer

went wonky and doesn't seem to allow me to do much...
I only get to blog this entry after much cursing and swearing, restarting and refreshing.

I was thinking.. what would my world be like without my own computer.
I couldn't think any further.
I know I wouldn't be able to live without being grumpy. :P

Anyway.. many people commented that my blog is no longer "uglyfatchick style"..
It's too "commercialized".. Has too much ads..the only thing that didn't change is the boring-ness...

Alright.. lets see how did this happen..


1) I'm not in school, thus not meeting friends, thus nothing to blog about.

2) I almost have no life now, it's either work or eat or sleep or blog or thinking of legal ways to get more money..

3) The only event that is interesting in my life now, it's working with new friends in the fitting room and since I don't have my phone with me when I work, I can't take photos and show you all mah..

4) Even my poor boyfriend doesn't get to see much of me nowadays..

5) I love money. Who can reject money right? I used to put up only AdSense but no one ever click on them, (which means no money generated), so I have no choice but to use other programs loh.. Yes I am desperate!


That's rough estimation of how I spend my 24hrs...

Using of internet- includes checking emails, blogging, reading other people's blog & sometimes maple or msn.

Actually most days I don't even watch TV so that I can blog more, or check out more opportunities for me to make money. :P

By the way, I just joined a new program..
I get paid reading advertisement.
Different from emailcashpro which sends you emails to read ads,
you actually log into adbux and surf the ads there yourself.. and they are paying $0.01 per ad you view. All you have to do is click on the ad and view it for 30seconds (there's a countdown counter on top) and you get $0.01!

I think it's even better than emailcashpro since I don't have to wait for emails to come in (they haven been sending much emails to me lately and they pay miserable amount lah.) less than 1cent per ad. -.-

Write about people who are famous (for whatever reasons).
And you get many viewers.
These viewers come and go. Just like every other blog hopper.
Been here once, and they never come back again.


I try to tell myself I don't give a damn about superficial visitors.
but then again, if only these viewers care to click on my Google ads. maybe I wouldn't be so sad. maybe I would be rich. Maybe I could cash out that 100 dollars soon. but who am I cheating? After so many months, I've only got a pathetic $7.66.

and after sending so many invites, only 1 person signed up under my emailcashpro.
and I found out that I lost out to a student. can you believe that?
